I saw this cartoon for the first time this weekend - Saturday on CBS.  We
were flipping through the stations and spotted a ferret character.  After
watching it for so long, we guessed that it wasn't a ferret.  It LOOKED like
a ferret, but they made it out to be something else.  We thought like a
polecat or prarie dog because it escaped from the shelter and when Billy
found him, he got in trouble for keeping him out so long, and as a result
they caged Zucchini, and he kept talking about going to find his home on the
prarie, or something similar - we caught it about half way through so I
don't know the plot or the characters.
 
Can someone confirm that it was a ferret?  It sure looked like one, but
because of the references, I wasn't sure.
