For those who are pondering the 2 nd Annual "Friends ( and Ferret) Walk" for
Ferret Wise Shelter scheduled for June 21, 1997 in beautiful Keene, NH
(filming location of Jumangi)-- things are progressing nicely.
 
The date, time ,and events are set... the walk (or not) forms are ready.
 
The "Top Fundraiser" trophy will be hand crafted once again by the
Stadtmillers -- also the winner will receive a Sony CD Walkman, 2nd place
winner receives a winners ribbon, savings bond, and framed certificate...
etc.  SPONSORS ARE STILL CONTRIBUTING TO MAKE THIS A BIGGER and BETTER
EVENT!
 
IN ADDITION TO THE WALK THE FOLLOWING WILL BE HELD.
A special" Ferret Walk" publication will be issued to all participants at
registration as well as commemorative photo buttons to those raising $60 or
more.
 
This years event will ALSO include: * a micro chip clinic (AVID) for
ferrets, canines and felines from 12 noon to 2 PM.  Cost $19 per companion
animal-- THIS INCLUDES the Pet Trac registration.  Limit 200 micro chips.
 
There will be an *Ask the Vet booth, A * Chinese Auction with some great
stuff-- autographed books, accessories, toys, etc.  *Exhibitors, *Displays,
* Photo wall of ferrets, *Ferret necessities and other from shelter folks.
*The Annual Walk group photo (as shown in Modern Ferret Magazine Issue
(number?) will be taken as well!  A Good old fashioned casual gathering with
Refreshments for walkers, ferrets and other companions, Door prizes.
 
Proxy entrants are eligible for door prizes (Entries must be returned by
June 12th) and the top fundraiser awards.
