The Carroll County (MD) Ferret Rescue has a pair of adoptable ferrets now,
plus "Killer" Bob.  Bob is just over four months old, and was rescued from a
pet store that was considering putting hinm down because of his propensity
to bite.  He's neutered, descented, a cute little guy, but is still
apparently afraid of people.  However, he is calming down a bit, and no
longer tries to bite the hand that puts the food in his cage!  Civilizing
this guy will take time, patience, a pair of leather gloves, but it can be
