I WAS READING A MAGAZINE THE OTHER NIGHT THAT CONTAINED MANY ADVERTISMENTS
FOR FERRET CAGES . ALL BUT ONE WAS BUILT OF WIRE WITH WIRE RAMPS AND
FLOORING. AT THE END OF THIS MAGAZINE I SAW A PICTURE THAT MADE ME ILL. A
YOUNG FERRET THAT LOST HIS RIGHT REAR LEG FROM BEING CAUGHT IN A WIRE FLOOR.
I WAS WONDERING, WHY, WITH THE APPARENT DANGERS OF WIRE FLOORING AND RAMPS
DO PEOPLE SELL AND USE THESE CAGES WITHOUT CARPETING OR OTHERWISE COVERING
THE WIRE HOLES ? CONCERNED FOR SAFETY, P. ELLIS
