Perhaps some of you remember a post that my husband Evan and I sent to the
list about 1 month ago desperately looking for a home for our four little
fuzzies whom our landlord would no longer let us keep.
 
We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone that responded...even
people located far from Wisconsin who were willing to pitch in and offer to
help out!  I've never seen such a wonderful response by such a truly
wonderful group of people.  We were very touched, to say the least!
 
We are pleased to say that our four little fuzzies have been relocated to
their new temporary home.  A woman from O'Fallon, IL responded to our
message and has offered to be a foster Mom for our little ones until we are
able to move and once again keep them with us.  Now I don't know about you,
but I can't believe what a selfless thing she has offered to do for us.
Margie Szelmeczka has come to our little one's rescue!  Thanks Margie for
being so willing to help out a couple of strangers and their fuzzies!
 
Margie drove for five hours up to Milwaukee two weekends ago, (in the
freezing cold I might add) and as gently as possible took our little beloved
ones from us with great sensitivity and compassion.  (It was so difficult to
let them go.  I cried and cried.) She has really shown that there are people
out there who are willing to help out strangers without asking for anything
in return.  I am so happy that our little ones are priviledged to be cared
for by such a wonderful person.
 
Thanks again to all who offered their help and support.  And thanks again
especially to Margie who has made us happier than words can express.  It's
such a relief to know that our fuzzies are safe and warm and happy during
their time away from us.  :)
