Well I'm a week behind on my FML reading, so if anybody posted in response
to my plea for Barrett, I am truly sorry for not answering you yet, I will
catch up by Sunday. Meanwhile, let me dive right in and post again.

Penny is my so sweet looking (so rotten in reality) 1.2 pound little baby,
just under 2 years old. Full fluffy winter coat. She's developing a bald
spot on the top of her head, about the size of a pencil eraser. The skin
itself looks fine, however it is specked in little brown spots. Looks like
when you rub against a textured wall and leave a little scruff mark, it's
not solid, sort of like it's only in the pores. My husband took her to the
vet and they noticed it (yes I'm a bad mommy). She said to watch it, looks
like she could be getting ringworm and if it doesn't go away they need to
test her for ringworm. I thought ringworm left a round dark discoloration
mark and was diagnosed just by looking at it. Knowledable input is wanted.
Should I go ahead and start doctoring the spot with iodine?

FOG - Walton and Okaloosa counties in Florida- meeting Nov 23 @ Quincy's on
Eglin Parkway, 9am. Breakfast buffet is 5.08 and includes drink and
gratuity. All are welcomed, no ferrets allowed. It's not necessary, but
please e-mail me if you plan to attend, the restaurant would like an idea of
how many people.

To all groups and indivduals who have sent input to help FOG get off the
ground:
THANK YOU!!! (And yes I do mean to yell my thanks.)

I know this is long in what seems to be a forever longer getting FML, but
one more thing please. The South Florida Ferret Shelter needs help. Please
help if you can. For those of us who ordered the coupon books, may I
suggest that you send one of your bonus certificates to a shelter so that
they can get soap and cat food coupons. We are still collecting for adrenal
surgery for their little Barrett. I received an e-mail today from a lady
who sent Barrett some funds to help him. Marsha THANK YOU!

If only 150 indivduals will donate $2, Barrett will have his surgery and
both him and Bandit can find a home of their own, opening up room for two
more lost souls. PLEASE.

$1, the cost of two soda, would go along way towards the rabies shed study,
Santa are you listening?
