I have furry alarm clocks, too.  Much more reliable than the electric
kind.  :-)

Now, Paw Paw, whatcha gotta do is keep the little rug rats up way past their
bed time, playing with 'em and using up as much energy as possible.  Or get
up in the middle of the night and run 'em ragged for a few hours.  Then, the
next morning when you do get up at the new time, make those sleepy weasels
get up, too, and play with them some more.  If that doesn't do it, repeat
the whole procedure a couple of times.  (The first try worked for us.)
 
Of course, this'll keep *you* up past your bed time, too, but c'est la vie.
 
My fuzzits sleep anywhere they want in the bedroom, unless they decide to
dance on my head when we should all be going to sleep.  In that case weasels
go into the cage.  I've found that if I cover the cages with a sheet,
everybody goes straight to sleep and stays quiet until the sheet is removed
in the morning.
