**The advice dispensed by myself in reference to FML postings is not meant
to supplant the advice of veterinarians who are in charge of the patient.
If the patient is not currently under the care of a veterinarian, the client
is recommended to take their ferret to one.**

Give this to your vet: Start with steroids.  I use Pediapred (1 mg/ml) and
I dose the ferrets 1/2 - 1 mg/lb of body weight.  If no success, consider
Proglycem (dose: 5 mg/lb divided into BID PO).  Micrometastases of the
insulinoma makes surgical removal a poor (but sometimes successful) option
of solitary tumors.
