A friend of mine has a ferret that concerns me.  She is about 2 yo, and
appears to have a sleepy look all the time.  Her eyes are half closed.  She
also "passes out" for 10-30 seconds Her eyes are closed at those times.
There doesn't seem to be a pattern (noticed) , but it is frequent.  No
other symptoms have been observed.  The vet says it is narcolepsy.  I doubt
that, but is it possible?  I can't seem to relate it to anything in the faq
or disease files.  I would appreciate any input.  Thanks in advance, I am
owned by nine at present.  I have learned more lurking here in a month,
than I did in three years of being owned by these guys.  Our first one was
found by my brother, and I have had 12 since then.  I'm glad to find out I
am not the only one to have an addiction.  I thought I was until I got on
the list.  I am so thrilled to see so many people love them like I do.  I
appreciate the vets that put in their time for us who have questions.  Love
to all your kids.
