To Debi :

I am feeling very distressed and angry after reading your post about
your "boyfriends" abusive behavior towards Logan and the other ferrets. I
want to say alot of nasty things about him, but I will try to restrain
myself. Those ferrets are clearly in danger and must be rescued from this
monster. You have a moral obligation, since you are witness to this abuse,
to take some sort of action. I implore you to take the ferrets out of there
at your earliest opportunity to do so. Unlike most human victims, the
animals can't defend themselves. I would also get a restraining order and
maybe a handgun, if you are comfortable with having one, as a means of
protecting yourself if he decides to try to come after you. That may sound
harsh, but anyone who would sink to physical abuse, especially of animals,
should be considered dangerous. If you are in the Pennsylvania / Delaware
area, and need help, I would be happy to offer any assistance I can. If
not, try to contact a local ferret rescue for assistance, or even the
police. PLEASE ACT NOW, the lives of those ferrets are in your hands, like
it or not.

To the person who just bought the LASER POINTER.:

Not to burst your bubble or offend you, but did you happen to notice the
warning label that should have been posted on the pointer. It says that it
is a LASER device and can cause serious eye damage if used in the wrong way.
Those devices are intended to be used as pointers ONLY, i.e., at a slide
presentation or in conjunction with an overhead projector. To use it as a
toy with your ferrets would be irresponsible. I'm sure you were unaware of
the hazard, but please take my advice and use a flashlight instead.
