I just thought I'd update everyone/anyone here that might be
interested...
I called the vet on Wednesday morning and was told to keep an eye on
her and ensure she ate and drank every few hours.
Which she did.
BUT she didn't look right. Too floppy. Too skinny. She didn't want
to play with Oriville or us.
She played with us a little last night and this morning.
I called the vet again and took her in this afternoon (Thursday).
They felt a BIG lump. :(
They did an x-ray.
She is at home snoozing contentedly in a drawer.
We go to the vet tomorrow at 9am where I will leave her and she will
undergo exploratory surgery sometime after 12 (Friday)
PLEASE keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers. She's my precious baba.
At the moment it could be anything...
PLEASE think of her with love and compassion. She doesn't appear in
any pain - is eating, drinking, using the litter box - BUT now we know
she's got a big lump in her. I'm very frightened. I'm sure if she
knew what she was going to go through she might be too.
Thanks to those who've e-mailed me. We really appreciate your concern
and advice.
Tanya, Ted and our sweet precious babas, Orville & Rajah

P.S. For the Mexican ferret fella, I'm 28, Orville's about 15 months
and Rajah's about 2 years old. Ted, (DH) is uhmm about 26 going on
36. :)
