BTW, I've also found that you can reduce the violent aversion ferrets
have to some medicines (Flagil comes to mind), as long as they don't
have diarrhea, by "sandwiching" the dose between tastes of Nutrical.
Let them lick a little Nutrical from your finger to get the taste in
their mouths, squirt the medicine into the cheek area (so they don't
aspirate it), and immediately chase it with a SMALL squirt of Nutrical
in the mouth.  They swallow it right down with less trauma and less
resentment.  Helps avoid dread when the TB syringe approaches.
