Seems that according to CDFA director, Bill Phillips, opposition to SB55
was led by the California Farm Bureau and the Cattleman's Association.
 
  Well...I let my fingers do the walking and phoned some people..
 
  The Cattleman's Association has no stand, for or against, SB55.  The person
I talked to seemed a bit bothered that someone had lied and said they
opposed the bill..
 
  I am still trying to speak with the California Farm Bureau..
