From the first day, I knew Pretzel was going to be something special.
While all of the other ferrets just explored on their first days, Pretzel
made off with three pens and a bendy straw. Interestingly enough he chose
as his own the other ferrets' hiding place. Here is a list of just a few
of the things he has absconded:
TV remote (I guess he was tired of mom watching the cute little mongoose on
TV and not playing with him.)
pliers (Mike caught him in mid run. But Pretz had the last laugh- he hid
them way behind their heavy wood cage. Yard stick time!)
large adjustable pliers (Mike said it couldn't be done.)
pens (innumerable)
floppy disks (He will actually snatch them from you if you show him a floppy.)
coupons (He's saving up for a FREE pooper scooper!)
Capri Juice Bag (Lifting is thirsty work.)
casters from the file cabinet (all four)

None of our other ferrets show too much interest in thieving but Pretz more
than makes up for it. Great fun is had by setting up barriers to the hidey
hole and showing him a very tempting floppy. Watching him maneuver the
obstacles to secure his precious disk is a riot.

Happy Ferreting.

Heather and the reunited four.
