Hello All:

I thought folks here would be interested to hear about the latest
oddity of our one-eyed genius ferret, Minx.

Recently my darling wife found Minx up on one of the bookcases, trying
valiantly to chew her way into a container of Carpet Fresh (we keep some
downstairs to sprinkle around after we clean the ferret room). When
Colleen took the container away (Minx had nearly knawed through it), Minx
seemed VERY upset and kept trying to get the container. Finally, Colleen
sprinkled some on the carpet, and Minx promptly began rolling in it and
grooming it into her fur! She LIKED the smell and wanted to smell just
like it.

Has anybody else had this kind of thing happen? Does anybody have any
idea if it's dangerous? None of the ingredients on the jar sound bad, and
of course it's designed to be safe for kids and 'normal' house pets. I
just think it's bizarre that she likes to groom it into her fur.
