Just thought I'd follow up with you and let you know that the hearing on
the ferret legalization bill went very well.  I attended it with
Kristen.  There were about 7 witnesses for the legislation, including the
MSPCA and another animal group that had previously opposed the bill.  The
witnesses were great and the committee was very interested.  Kristen
presented a petition with 50 signatures.  No one testified against it.
It felt like a positive report will be issued.
