Excuse me, but you sure sound awful sanctimonius.  These people are obviously
interested in the welfare of a ferret that has been treated irresponsibly.
And you suggest the gentleman give it back for a possible repeat performance?
Risk the well being of an animal in order to teach a lesson?  Who are you to
decide who needs a lesson?  Perhaps the people who used to own the ferret need
a lesson in the proper treatment of ferrets-or the proper treatment of people
who take ferrets and spend money on them and give them the attention and
treatment they need.  Or maybe you need a lesson in tolerance and forgiveness.
Yes, there are always lessons to be learned from every experience, but let us
not judge so hastily for whom the bell tolls.  Chris, Willow, and Smudge
