Just a story to share about my 1 1/2 yr. old male ferret, Gizmo. In the
mornings when I hop in the refreshing shower, my little baby joins me if
in the mood for a little splashing around. He has figured out a way to get
in the shower without my help...amazing! First of all he tips the trashcan
over in order to climb on top of the toilet that is about 2 1/2 feet away
from the shower. When on the toilet he claws on the seat (his getting ready
thing) like a bull would do to the ground when he is getting ready to charge.
And then when he is ready he jumps into the air, hits the shower curtain
(and sometimes my leg), and lands in the bathtub. When in the tub he runs
around and gets soaken wet. He loves to lick his wet furry coat and enjoys
the water so much...such a fun little game to him. My other ferret, Maggie
is not so brave and waits for me to put her in the tub when I get out of the
shower. Gizmo has earned the name "SUPERMAN"....he just needs a cape!
