Last night as I knelt and stooped to clean the litterbox I suddenly felt a
ferret land on my shoulder. I have trained our 3 ferrets to ride on my
shoulder but having a ferret suddenly appear there was unsettling. It was
Buttercup, our youngest (1 year old) who had used a chair to launch herself
onto my shoulder and hoped to use my shoulder to gain access to the forbidden
top of the file cabinet. Sometimes she is so smart she scares me.
