Subject: Cricket Eating Ferret

Hi Lindy!

One of mine (Ferris) eats crickets, too. <ick!> The other two won't
touch them other than to stare curiously.

What I found interesting was your comment about Oscar not eating any
other treats. I've only found one treat that Binky will eat - and
that's bananas. She's a fiend for those! I wonder if there's
something to that - since Oscar and Binky were littermates :->

Subject: Food food food

There has been lots of food discussion - and several brands/types
mentioned. I went to a frolic a while back - and there was a vet
that gave a presentation on the care of ferrets in general - but
spent a good bit of time on geriatric care. (Sorry I can't remember
his name. He's in the Ft. Worth, TX area. I can probably get it
if there is interest.) At any rate - the food he recommended for
ferrets after their first 18 months was Science Diet C/D. I've not
seen anyone else mention that particular food. I feed this to my
20 year old cat. Anyone have any thoughts/comments on that particular
food?
