First, I beleive that the key to controlling the odour of my ferrets is
to keep their bedding cleaned. I clean ours at least once every two weeks.
Second (question for vets and vets to be), I just today (friday)
noticed that my ferrets (1yr old female, descented&fixed) bum is inflamed
and very swollen. It is very red (instead of pink) and although I didn't
see any blood, it may have bled a bit without my noticing. When I say
swollen, I mean more than 5mm and blood red. I'm scheduling an
appointement right now but being in a small city in Canada, the vet I'm
going to see does not have loads of experience. Perhaps you could give me
some info on what it might be, incase my vet dosn't know. I don't know if
it's important but she is up to date on her distemper and rabies
shots.(ie. last september)
Thanx
