I just wanted you to know that I also lost a young small ferret and I
know what you are feeling.  It tore my heart out to come home and find her
almost gone and even though we rushed her to the vets she was just too
far gone to help.  I cried a million tears and even then it didn't seen to
help.  I told her I loved her so many times and like you hoped she herad and
understood.  It never ceases to amaze me how they can wrap themselves
around your heart and how fast they manage to do it.  They pain did get less
over time and to help me get through it my sister and I gradually increased
out family that was 2 to 6.  We love them all and I think they know.
 
I just wanted to share with you the knowledge that someone out there does
understand and is thinking of you at this time.  Chindi will always be
with me and I know that Felix will always be with you.  In time you will
stop looking for the little one but you will never forget.
