Wow!  Chris stepping down?!?  I suppose I should have seen it coming,
knowing how busy you are, but it still comes as a surprise.  Certainly
things won't be quite the same without you as moderator!
 
Let me chime in to say that MY preference is to see the FML continue as a
mailing list.  I have no patience for newsgroups, and no time to check
into Usenet. Also, as co-leader for Small Mammals on Petsforum on
CompuServe, I would be remiss in not pointing out how many people there
are out there who do not have Usenet access -- replacing the FML with a
newsgroup would leave a huge hole for those folks, and that would be a shame.
