Dr. Williams,

Thank you very much for replying to my questions regarding my hob's
swollen testicle so quickly. I talked to my vet today and she
scheduled him for surgery first thing tomorrow morning. He is
feeling much better today. He's a bit more active and his appetite
has improved. His fever has been going down to 102 at night then
back up to 104 during the day. The testicle, however is just as big
as before. I'd appreciate it if you would do the pathology on the
testicle. I'll give my vet your address and phone number. Thanks
again.

Julie,

Autumn kits are quite common. With most ferrets being kept under
artificial lighting now, kits are born year round. I have one that
was born in Sept., one in Nov. and one in Jan. (Different years.) So
you should be able to find some with no trouble.

Cindy
