Thanks for that bit of... ummm... support.  I was thinking maybe I was
crazy or something.  I know that after our ferrets fight, one or the other
or even both have had red welts on their back/neck, though neither has
drawn blood.  But I think blood would be a real possibility if we were
to let them continue the fight.
 
I'm still going to try the bitter apple thing.
