We also have a ferret with blue eyes. They appear red or a real deep
magenta most of the time, but the vets notice that they are blue when they
look in to them with their little eye thingy. They look red because of
the blood vessels in them.

I don't know if it is very common or not. Our ferret that has them is
a mutant by most standards - we finally figured out she was, if not
totally, then about 99% deaf about 5 months ago after having her for almost
two years!

Ferret Stuff:

I complained about them awhile back because I would keep calling
and leaving them messages about getting a catalogue from them - and
NEVER getting one. Well, yesterday I took a trip to the local pet store
looking for one of their cages (they sell them in our local pet store)
and they were out. We really need to keep the ferrets contained, mainly
the mutant mentioned above as we are selling our house and they don't think
it's cool to have them running around.

Anyhow, I called Ferret Stuff and even though they aren't supposed
to sell out of their house (strictly mail order, shows, pet stores, etc)
they let me go over there and pick up a cage (no shipping and handling!).

They STILL didn't give me a catalogue! Anyone have an extra?

Michelle
