About Mocha:

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I've had to pull myself through other
pet deaths (no ferrets - knock on wood) and it's so difficult sometimes.

I had quite the scare with Gushi on Friday when I went to the vet. First, it
was a different guy giving the shots and I was NOT impressed with him at all.
Gushi ended up kicking out the needle (not a big surprize, he *hates* shots)
and bleeding a bit. Nik did the same - BIG surprize - usually just sits there
and takes it. I gathered up my boys and got about a block away from the vet's
when Gushi started convulsing and throwing up. All I could think was "Ferrets
don't throw up unless something's really wrong" so I rushed back to the vet.
He got sick again and they decided to keep him overnight for observation since
it seemed like he was having a reaction to the vaccine. I was informed to call
later to see how he was and I went home teary-eyed with Nik.

Luckily (?), it wasn't a vaccine reaction but just too much darn stress.
WHEW!! Scares the dickens out of you!

Again, my condolences Chris.
