EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:
For immediate release to all bulletin boards with ferret sections
(Nancy Hartman can you please see this gets to everyone).
On 14 January 1993 the Ferret Friends of Indian River County sent a
"Request to be considered as an Exhibitor in Animal Care EXPO 93"
(to be held in Orlando Florida March 17th - 20th 1993) to
Ms. Rachael Lamb (Humane Society of the United States).  We sent
our package Federal Express next morning service - in our package
we sent a beautiful cover letter (aren't I modest) and 3.5 pounds
of materials on ferrets.  the Animal Care EXPO 93 is the world's
showcase of equipment, technology, products and services for
Humane Societies, Animal Control Agencies, Wildlife Rehibilation centers
commercial boarding kennels and others entrusted with the sheltering and
care of domestic and wild animals.  THE EXPO IS SPONSORED BY THE
HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED SATES, THE LARGEST NATIONAL ANIMAL
PROTECTION ORGANIZATION.  It is my understanding that our Ferret
organization is the only requesting exhibitor who must be approved
by the HSUS in Washington.  Please everyone keep their fingers crossed
If we are allowed to exhibit it will be a victory for ferrets and
