As I have never ever had a problem with distemper I was hoping someone
could answer this woman question because I have no clue but I am also
interested in the answer. I heard distemper can come in on our shoe
bottoms.

Ann, I have a problem. My 19 year old grandson in living with us. He
went to a tournament today and called from there asking if he could
bring a kitten home. He said it is "ok but it has distemper"!!!! I
freaked out. He has been holding a kitten with distemper. I need to
know how to disinfect him thoroughly when he gets home. And is feine
distemper the same as Canine???? My heart is up in my mouth!!!
