as some type of invasive contraband?

Sending the little guys something is a great idea and I am glad you
are sending a package. Just wondering if they would get the gifts
before the bomb squad moves in.

Please let us know how it goes. [...]45_14Mar201410:24:[log in to unmask] 1403 1604 17 20_Re: Hawaiian [log in to unmask], 14 Mar 2014 13:07:20 -0400626_- Listen, it's great that Laura seems to have "bonded" with these
ferrets.....BUT.....how much ferret info does she and the zoo have?
Again - they've been there a YEAR and no one knows not to use the wood
shavings? Nothing about hammys? Weird food? No treats? How much contact
to they have with loving hands? Skritching, towel rides, treats....?
And what happens when Laura vacations, transfer to another area, moves
to another zoo....? Ferrets stay? Or go with "thier human"? Is anyone
on the FML going to Hawaii and would the zoo be willing to allow a
review of the ferrets' [...]40_14Mar201413:07:[log in to unmask] 1403 1622 13 19_Re: Honolulu Zoo...14_Barbara [log in to unmask], 14 Mar 2014 22:14:49 -0500219_- Leslie, What did Laura say about the shavings in their enclosure?

Banner with a darling (as they all are) ferret and the words 'Bite Me'
on a Valentine candy heart.

The banner was probably on an auction. Any idea where I can get more?
Amazon only had one choice.

ferrrets in wood shavings, their Zoo vet has corrected that problem,
informing the keepers to change them to wood pellets.

Anyone interested in sending items can check with your local postal
service to see what limitations exist as to what can be sent into
Hawaii just as there are limitations when sending to troops over seas
or to our neighbors to the North (meaning Canada.) [...]45_15Mar201407:28:[log in to unmask] 1403 1689 15 10_HE WASHERS11_Julie [log in to unmask], 15 Mar 2014 16:45:34 -0600357_- I have a top loading HE washer and love it. I have never liked the
front loading washers, didn't think they cleaned well enough. I use
Diane's wonderful weasel soap and I never have much fur left on my
kids laundry even when he is shedding! I will do his laundry on the
bulky setting so it uses a little more water and will rinse better. [...]46_15Mar201416:45:[log in to unmask] 1403 1705 34 36_Marshall ferret food from ferret.com7_boo [log in to unmask], 16 Mar 2014 01:38:53 -0400454_- would like to share our ferret.com experience

I love and hate mine. My first one wasn't a problem. It did a fabulous
job but then a part gave out and I was stupid enough to get someone on
ANgie's list out - they made a mess of it then I read on his reviews
how he charged for a new icemaker on another call and it was the same
old one. Found he did the same to me plus tried to hot wire past the
defect area. It was going on 8 weeks of trying to get it re paired,
went out and got another one - had the sanitizer on it............
trouble galore with the hair and debris. The first one wasn't a problem
and I washed the same stuff in it I do this one. What happens here the
drain holes are so tiny, it clogs up and you have to go into there
between every washing and soak up the "water" that is in that spot
which can be liquid you know what and then dig out the hair of the
little holes. Never did I have to do that with the old one, both front
end loaders both same brand. And it can be milder hair accumulation but
it still blocks it up where only your fingers can clean it out. I like
the sanitize feature and also you can use a cycle to wash and dry
something light, I don't like that it doesn't have a rinse cycle all
by itself. You can add an extra rinse but not after it has completed
the load. I used that a lot on the old one and miss it. Outside of
that, I think it is a terrific washer.
