Another question (following "What to do" about adopting new ferrets).
Minky & Klondike both had diarrhea from IBD, and towards the end they
pooped a lot in different places on the carpeting. Does this mean the
new ferrets poop everywhere? Or will they use corner spots, as they
normally do? We did rent a machine and cleaned all the carpeting after
Klondike died, but you know how ferrets can sniff out anything.
BTW, This is not a carpeted "ferret room." The entire apt., consisting
of a living room and one bedroom, is carpeted, though almost all the
diarrhea happened in the bedroom, where their cage was. Even the entry
way and hallway are carpeted. There's no wood under the carpeting (only
concrete), so I can't just remove it.
Jeff's method, though great, is not really an option for us.
Thanks again,
Shron
