I found Kim's post on live feed disturbing. I have had pets of many
sorts and happen to like snakes and mice as well as ferrets. I have
never fed live food. It is okay to feed an animal a natural diet, but
the subject of ingestion should be humanely killed first. I personally
could not handle to kill an animal, but I understand that there is a
food chain. Maren, please keep up the good fight! Don't give up just
because a few people prefer to do things that most of us find cruel.
There will always be opposition.

Kim, I hope in the future that you will allow yourself to calm down
before posting. You were obviously very upset, and went on the attack.
That approach does not tend to win people to your side. I understand
that you believe that your rights are being infringed upon, but that
does not give you an invitation to attack anyone. I happen to agree
with Maren, but even if I agreed with you, I do not agree with your
tactics. I feel very passionately about certain issues that tend to
set me off. Before commenting, I allow myself to breathe a little and
maybe take a walk before responding. You certainly are entitled to your
opinion, and to express it. I hope you continue to do so, but in a more
constructive way.
