This may be a question that BART! will soon be asking. While on a
backpacking trip this weekend, BART! discovered the small, rubber-
handled shovel we carry for "cat-holes". He was only in possession of
the rubber handle for a minute and I believe this is where he damaged
his upper canine. It isn't broken, but you can feel a definite dent
about 2/3 of the way down. I know this will weaken the tooth in
general, and I am worried it will eventually crack and break. If this
happens, what do you do for them (other than giving extra treats or
money under their pillow).
