Friends of Ferret Shelters Raffle for The Oregon Ferret Shelter
"The Oregon Ferret Shelter is currently housing 170 shelter ferrets
waiting for homes. With the economy being scary for all, we are seeing
approximately one ferret a day knocking at our door needing a new
home! I often wonder how many people are leaving their own skin kids
at hospital doors! Many need surgery, which isn't an easy feat to
accomplish right now. We have 10 furkids waiting for adrenal surgery.
We have a wonderful, understanding vet, but a $5700 vet bill still
has to be paid." - Chris Mathis
