The situation I posted about yesterday appears to be under control,
the owner of the ferret knows their rights and according to what I am
seeing right now the ferret is most likely going to be transported to
a ferret shelter outside of the state. Hopefully this is correct and
the ferret will not be euthanized.

Thank you to everyone who has emailed me off-list so far, and to
everyone who will do so between when I send this and when tomorrow's
FML goes out. Sorry to waste everyone's time as the situation was
apparently handled between the time I went to work after sending
yesterday's email, and the time the FML actually came out. Oh well,
hopefully this will help raise more awareness among CA ferret owners
or something.

Oh, and this was not my ferret. I live in Ohio. ;) Sorry if that was
not clear in my post, I was VERY worried about the ferret in question
and may not have made it quite clear that it was not my ferret.
