normally wait and ask, but the situation seems fairly urgent. Vicki
is in Texas so there's a good chance the ferrets are there too. BIG]

I was contacted today by a friend who has 11 ferrets. This person is
NOT allowed to have any pets at home. A neighbor has found out about
them and has said he is going to call the Health Dept. This person will
loose everything and be forced to move from an affordable community and
have to abandon a paid for home if that happens. A LOT of money and
time has been spent keeping these ferrets healthy and happy; there is a
LOT of heartbreak here right now - surrender is not wanted, but needed.

Because of the flaming and judgement that does fly around different
groups, including the FML, this person does not want to post publically
and be made to feel worse - health and life IS at issue here - both the
person's and the ferret's. I have agreed to help rehome these guys.

There will be NO adoption fee. These ferrets are offered to experienced
homes. If you can take in any more ferrets and help save even one,
please email me so we can start transportation arrangements.

The ferrets are divided into 2 businesses right now.

1st group - 6 ferrets - all up to date with meds.

 [04/23/2006] 1 Dark Sable male - good health - approx 2 years old -
              will nip your arm or leg and run playing.
 [2003] 1 Marked White female - good health - approx 4 years old.
 [07/14/2005] 1 Chocolate female - good health - approx 2.5 years old.
 [03/12/2006] 1 Silver female - Deaf - rat tail - 2 years old - will
              nip your arm or leg and run playing.
 [04/01/2007] 1 Cinnamon male - Deaf - good health - approx 1o months
              old - will nip your arm or leg and run playing.
 [1 Marked White female - limited rat tail - approx 2 years old.

These ferrets all get along. They can be split up - and likely will
have to be split.

2nd group - 4 ferrets - all up to date with meds.

 [10/10/2004] 1 Cinnamon male - good health - approx 3.5 years old -
              will nip your arm or leg and run playing.
 [02/09/2003] 1 Silver male - adrenal - 5 years old.
 [06/00/2002] 1 Marked White female - 5.5 years old - has recently lost
              some weight, may be mouring a lost/deceased cage mate.
 [06/23/2002] 1 Albino female - adrenal - approx 5.5 years old -- 
              ***ALERT - BITER - has never learned to trust people and
              will draw blood - strikes unexpectedly. This ferret will
              be offered to a BITER experienced person only. If you do
              not have experience, and more importantly patience with
              a biter, please do not request this little girl.

All of the above ferrets are used to being caged and allowed 2 play
times each day. They are fed Zupreem and given soup each day.They do
have tons of toys. Cages are available if you want/need one.

We need to get these ferrets to a safe haven/ new home as quickly as
possible so they are not seized by AC and the owner does not become
