Think of the movie  "Gorky ParK"

The connection in the end was the importation of Russian Sables, those
final shots were very similar to the conditions under which the Ohio
ferrets were housed. Sables have thicker coats, and ae indigenous to
colder climes.

Sable are produced for the fur industry there in the same way that Mink
are ranched here, though in the movie I would suspect they were using
ferrets for those shots. A truely remarkable animal indeed. :)
