Kelly---that is so thoughtful of you to try to help Lori. But, one
small word of advice. Make sure that Lori knows if you are under 18
y.o. Most animal facilities cannot allow minors to handle animals
because of liabilityissues. I would hate for you to make that long trip
only to find out that you can't handle any of the ferrets (if that's
what you would like to do). It would also probably prevent you from
adopting if that is your intention, since minors cannot enter into
contracts. Of course, you could arrange that between Lori and your
parents before you go. Being underage would not preclude you from
doing other things to help though.
