Great. I wonder how many people left their central air and a/c on, went
on vacation, and will come home to a not very pretty picture.

For all the money California costs, it sure is a state with poor
infrastructure, outdated airports (San Francisco) and of course, the
power situation is HORRIBLE. We have only had a few days of intense
heat, and already, the power has failed. What would have happened if
the whole summer had been a heatwave?

Again I feel disillusioned by California. However, I guess the writing
was on the wall when I learned ferrets are illegal there.
