This is a NON-Raffle...
it is SIMILAR to a raffle..but not quite a raffle...;-) ...since i am
already DOING a raffle right now...;-)
Ok..OK..it is like this... Rose German, Little Feet Ferret Retreat,
wanted to donate a bedding set to raffle off to raise funds for Jackie
Hawley, The Dook Nook in Jacksonville, FL.
I am pretty sure most of you have heard of the kids that Jackie has taken
in that are in such bad shape...and the extensive medical care they have
and will need...there is so much more to the story, but I know it has
been posted on the FML already...
Anyway...Rose German wanted to help Jackie and asked if we could raffle
off this wonderful, gorgeous bedding...[MY words..not hers]... and
since I [kat] am already doing the SOS Summer Raffle...I came up with
this "Non-Raffle" idea...
Ok..It goes like this....
For every dollar you donate FOR THE DOOK NOOK...THRU S.O.S., between now
and June 7th...you will get one chance at winning this bedding set... If
you donate $1.00 to SOS, putting "For Jackie Hawley, The Dook Nook, FL"
in the subject line, then you would get 1 chance to win it...
If you donate $5.00 to SOS, putting "For Jackie Hawley, The Dook Nook,
FL" in the subject line, then you would get 5 chances to win it...
If you donate $10.00 to SOS, putting "For Jackie Hawley, The Dook Nook,
FL" in the subject line, then you would get 10 chances to win it... and
so on...
I will be notified of all donations thru SOS for Jackie, and I will keep
tabs and on June 7th I will send the numbers to BIG to have him do his
Random Number Generator Thingy to determine who is the winner of this
gorgeous bedding that Rose so generously donated for Jackie's benefit!!!
