Minor correction: Parepectolin is the clay preparation that USED TO
be in Kaopectate.
 
Kaopectate changed its formula in 2003 and no longer contains it.

there are brands that still contain it, but yesterday I went to my
pharmacist and he couldn't find it in his formulary; he said they've
all changed to bismuth subsalicylate.  He suggested a veterinary supply
house might well have something, since they are less likely to switch
to the latest and greatest (and higher profit margin) products.
 
I also understand that Kaopectate in Canada still contains parepectolin;
I'm going to Canada this weekend and will check it out.

PS - The generic name for Parepectolin is "attapulgite".
