How easy can this be?
 
Lay the ferret on its back and if you can see/feel a small lump some
thing like the nib end of a ball-point pen, then you can assume that
what you have is a male, if you do not find this small lump then you
can assume that what you have is a female.
 
The only way to know if a female has been done is that your jill will
not come into season and if the hob has not been altered then his
testicles will descend just under the anus when he comes into season.
 
Jill with all the bits in one area (8) valva at the frount towardes the
head direction with anus under the tail.
 
Hobs in season (8) testicules at the frount towardes the head direction
with anus under the tail, then the penis around the bell button area, out
of season (0) no testicules should be found with anus under the tail,
then the penis around the bell button area
