I feed everyone a mix of mostly Totally Ferret with a little of each
of several other good ferret foods.  Even Marshall's, a little.  That
is sometimes full of small crumbs and powder so I sift it out with a
colander.  I do that with the crumbs and bits in the bottom of the bowls,
and I put it out for the birds.  But when I put out the Marshall's crumbs
the birds wouldn't touch that.  Maybe because it wasn't in pieces but in
powder, but I think because of its base of fish.  I think the birds are
telling me something.
 
Also what is the opinion of the new formula 45% protein 8in1 Ultimate?  I
got in a bag with a couple ferrets and it was their only food.  They are
in good condition but lean.  It has only 16% fat.  So I am going to use
the rest of the bagful in the mix.
