I hope you don't mind me posting you post to FML on other sites.
 
I have been saying for many many years "The SYMPTOMS for both conditions
"hyper adrenal " and in intact ferrets "over stimulation of the sex cyle"
are balding.  IT LOOKS the same.  BUT the causes are different." that the
problem in intact ferrets is not the same as in altered ferrets.
 
I'm glad to see that others are now seeing what I have seen over the past
30 plus years
