As I recall, ferrets can NOT be successfully bred with American mink,
but can with European mink.
 
Yes, some have been with M. putorius, and some have been with M.
Eversmanni.
 
In Ferret Genetics you will find a NUMBER of crosses (info especially
from some Russian and Swedish posters) so check the search engine there
for those posts and links, Shona.
