Dear Ferret Folks-
 
I understand that Jacquie has been sending out lots of letter templates
to folks, and lots of complete lists of treats (safe, only in moderation,
and under no circumstances).  This is wonderful!  We are so very
greatful.
 
We do have a piece of advice- as difficult as it may be, please try to
be polite.  Even if your first impulse is to yell "LISTEN UP, ROAD KILL
FOR BRAINS!!!" a measured, civil tone helps a lot.  Otherwise they
probably put your letter in a file marked "CRAZY FERRET FANATICS," and
that's the end of your influence.
 
I know I don't care what people who yell in my face want.  Period.  Do
you?  You can always call them dirty names after you hit send.
