Penny got hold of a copy of my "Little Star" CD several months ago
and emailed me.  She asked if she could have a story about me and the
fundraising for Little Dudes Ferret Ranch in a coming issue of the
American Ferret Report.  Within a couple of months they printed a
full-page story about me and the CD as well as put a little picture
of Freddy, the ferret I lost who inspired the song, on the cover.
 
Personally I think Penny and the AFA are awesome - great people with good
hearts that truly care about ferrets.  Big deal about shows - I'm with
everyone else that has commented about that.  As for our ribbons we won
at the cute event near me - most have been stolen and stashed - never to
be found.  I think the fuzzies made their point.
