A quick note on my ebay auctions and update on things here at the
shelter.  I have many items listed on ebay and will be listing almost
daily up through the end of November which will be my cut-off for getting
items out to people for Christmas.  I have some very nice jewelry which
is brand new and below retail prices, I really need to get these sold, I
offer refunds on these if not completely satisfied.  They truly are very
nice, good quality gemstones, etc.
 
The funds from these auctions will pay for food for the animals, pay vet
bills, etc.  and right now, since the home most likely will be pulled out
of here, I have got to get the cattery done so I will have a place to put
all of the cats when the home is removed, they will have to be out of the
way when this thing is moved out, along with moving all of the ferrets
elsewhere temporarily.
 
As many of you know, my home was damaged badly last year from the
hurricanes, I have been trying to get help with repairs or replacement
for over a year, not sure of what I was going to do.  I have recently
been contacted (finally) by an agency that helps out.  They will visit on
Thursday and most likely I will qualify for some help in replacing the
home.  This one is just too old and repair cost would be way too high
for the age of the home.  If I qualify, it could still be quite a bit of
time before it's actually done, but hopefully it will be in the next 6
months.Therefore I need to raise funds not only for the daily things that
are needed here at the shelter, but to also finish building the outdoor
cattery & I will have to move the ferrets to another location until the
new home is brought in.
 
This past year has been hell for me and I still have a long road ahead
of me, I have my every day shelter chores, plus boxing things to store,
still trying to do ebay and every other little thing that seems to want
to pop up every day to bug me.
 
Please take a look at my auctions and keep checking, I will be adding
items all of the time through the end of November.
