I knew *something* was wrong with Elvis the moment things settled down
and i got to spend some extra time with him. He walked funny, was very
weak in the hind end and loses his footing often.

i had one of our volunteers (thank you Steph) take him into the vet
tonight. I'm sad to report some not-so-good news.

Elvis has a dislocated hip, possibly both of them. He was too painful to
take a proper x-ray of both hips tonight so the hospital kept him over
night and will put him under to get a good look at both hips tomorrow.
The doc isn't sure if he has had an injury or if his problem is due to
malnutrition when he was a kit. We'll know tomorrow. Please keep him in
your thoughts.

Sugar just hasn't flourished as much as the rest of the kids. She has
gained weight and been eating well, but she is just not as perky as
the rest of them. Steph also took her in tonight and we're a little
concerned about cancer with her. The doc took some blood and we should
know on Friday what's up with her. Please keep her in your thoughts
also.

Love to all, Randy
