Today is Easter and all the babies are out hunting eggs that the Bunny
left here. Hopefully everybody will stay busy so I can talk.

I'm going to try and tell you a story about a little ferret named
Caollaidhe. She came over the bridge with great zest a few days ago.
Smart little girl! I trotted up to her to tell her that my name was
Sandee and that I was the Rainbow Bridge greeter here. She sort of
tilted her head and asked what I meant. So I sat her down and broke the
news to her about where she was.

She sighed and said, "I kind of thought that's where I was." She then
looked longingly back at the bridge.

"Don't worry, your mom is going to take care of Aisling," I said. But
she knew that. She wasn't worried about her sister at all. She was
worried about her mommy. I told her that her mommy had a mommy herself
and that Aisling and her own mommy would help her to heal. "The best
thing you can do for your mommy right now, is to get all settled in and
ready to help me greet her and Aisling when they come up here someday,"
I said.

So I showed her the sites. She really got a kick out of ferretone
fountain. She was also intrigued with the shoots and ladders. Then she
started darting around, inspecting every possible hiding place she could
find until she exhausted me.

"Did you find one that you like yet," I asked.

"Yup. Found a couple," she replied.

I asked her why in the world she kept on searching then if she found a
satisfactory hidey. That's when she told me that she also found one for
Aisling for when she comes and that she was trying to now find one big
enough for her mommy! I tried to tell her that I didn't think they made
hidey's that big. But you know what? This is Rainbow Bridge and all
dreams come true. By gosh if she didn't find a great hidey for her
mommy to take naps with her when she visits.

She eventually wanted to have fun with all the other little souls who
were preparing for Easter. She heard about how sly the bunny was in
sneaking over here to leave heaven safe chocolate and eggs. She was
quite excited. The activity she most wanted to take part in was dying
the eggs. It was sort of hard though, what with all the ferrets pulling
the eggs underneath their bodies and scooting them all around. Somebody
needed to tell them that the bunny will hide them and that they don't
need to. It would also help if they were died first! But it all
eventually got done. The dying. And then the ferrets all hid them from
that poor Bunny. So the Bunny is going to have his work cut out for him
in finding the eggs here and then hiding them again.

Well, would you look at that! My wings! They're green ... someone died
them green when I wasn't looking. I wonder who could have done that
[wink].

Sandee
